Hello! I got a job as the UVM meteorologist! hahaha we go live in two weeks, and i have this week to train. I get to make my own computer models and talk in front of a green screen. hahah pretty funny. Now lets get to it!
Portland--
I am going to sound repetitive here for your forecast. As of now high pressure is building in for today and tonight bring sunshine and low to mid 80 temps. Then tomorrow a weakening cold front breaks the high pressure for some afternoon rain into the evening hours. High temperature for wednesday will be 79. Then after the low moves to the E high pressure builds back in for thursday and into friday with a high 76 thursday.
Utah <3
Boy I've spent way to move time checking out your radar the past couple days. An pacific cold front moves over Utah today for more showers and Tstorms. As this low spins east there is a dense pool for moisture and cooler air aloft mix that with surface heating like we'll see this morning and afternoon, this will spark Tstorms.
This storm will pass today and into tonight, leaving only a slight chance for any tstorms tomorrow as a strong ridge of high pressure builds in. Highs today 73 high tomorrow 81 and high thursday of 80.
DENVER-
Higher humidity could spark an afternoon thundershower or two but not very likely. Mostly sunny skies with high today 82, 78 tomorrow and 79 for thursday.
NYYYYYYYYYY-
Holla! a cold front that moved through VT is tracking south down New england and you guys will start so see showers tomorrow, but mainly thursday. High temps will be in the upper 60s and low 70s for up until thursday.
Boston!-
I hate to say it, but today might be the last warm and nice day for the year, could be wrong but its getting to that point where 80 degrees won't happen too often. So 79 today with mostly sunny skies. The cold front tracking S is more to the West so you guys wont feel it as much as NY will, only a couple of showers.High tomorrow will be around 60 with mostly cloud skies and showers, then thursday partly sunny with a high of 61.
Vermont-
After the rain cleared out last night, a ridge of high pressure builds in until thursday. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s, a tad bit below normal for the year. Next chance for rain is friday as a cold front slips south from CANADA.
FFOTD-Astoria OR is the cloudiest city in the nation with an average of 240 days per year. Seattle and portland rank 4th and 5th with about 225 day per year.
