3 day weekend and it feels so good!

Portland-
Weekend forecast looks great. highs in the low 60s and sunshine! remnants of a typhoon heads to portland for tuesday to bring rain and rain showers. more on that to come! Just get out and enjoy the weekend!

Utes: High pressure still in place however temps will vary based on the wind you receive. as of now you are under a more northerly influence so that'll keep temps cooler. High tomorrow of 53 and mostly sunny. Same scenario for sunday, however, monday y'all warm up to about 62 as a more westerly flow comes in. have a good weekend!

DENVER! sunshine today but then a strong cold front over Wyoming comes down to colorado. the further south you are the less chance for snow but better chance for freezing rain. Low of about 16! tomorrow and only a high of 32. this should be interesting. low of 17 for saturday night but then sunday the low passes and we begin to warm back up, high of 43 degrees. by mid week next week sunshine returns with highs in the mid 60s.

NY-rain today coming from the SW moving NE.you guys will get hit harder than we will here in vt. expect rain and showers for the rest of the day. ya'll stay relativly dry for the remainder for the weekend with passing showers left over from this low. highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Rain today and tonight, then high pressure builds in to give some sunshine. Expect some heavy winds though for saturday as the pressure gradient is really strong next to boston. looks like a great weekend though!

VT-
Rain today coming from the SW moving NE. Don't think we will pick up too much measurable precipitation but the clouds will be present. tonight shower should pick up and we can get a quarter of an inch of rain. for the rest of the weekend sunshine with ihghs in the upper 50s. Monday we cool off with highs in the low 40s and mountain snow. here at uvm we may see flakes but nothing will stick.

FUN FACT-July 4, 1956, 1.23 inches of rain fell in Unionville, MD in ONE MINUTE!!!! that would break 95% of portland 24 hour rain records!
