Week of the 12th

Hey everyone. nice three day weekend, went on a thirty mile bike ride out into the middle of lake champlain on an old rail rode that became a bike bath. very neat.

Portland
Wet week ahead. today seemed to be the last dry day for a while so get out and enjoy it. Strong jet stream pours stroms off the coast into the NW. the first one being a typhoon reminent. Tomorrow rain with a high of 54 then for the rest of the week rain with highs around 60. Love y'all.

Eug
Same forecast as portland. Wet weather is coming your way with tomorrow being the coldest day of the week.

Utah
System from portland will bring rain on wednesday as the jet stream sags to the south. temps will be in the low 60s for much of the week with low temps around 50. Pretty seasonable weather for utah this time of year. Just realized you are all home in portland so this is pointless! ha sorry.

DEN
SUnshine! you guys had a fun weekend and a well deserved break from the active cold weather. Sunshine is coming each day with gradually warming temps. Start out tomorrow with highs around 50 then warming up to 60 by thursday, pretty linear uprising with temps.

NY state of mind
cool weather is coming. if you watch my weather forecast http://www.ustream.tv/channel/uvmtv-live i explain what is giving the cold weather to our area. Snow showers are possible into the early morning hours tonight but no sticking snow. Another system moves off the great lakes thursday and moves west which gives more rain and chance for snow flakes. no acculation though.

Vermont

FUN FACT: an alberta clipper is when warm (relative to canada) comes off the ocean and accelerates down the canada rocky mountains and creates a low preasure system. This system speeds up rapidly through canada to the great lakes and NE. It is called a clipper storm because a clipper is a fast type of boat and the clipper system moves very vast!
