Hey hey hey. Went on a beautiful bike ride this week. Trees are starting to change colors and its quite spectacular (very touristy thing to say I've learned). Fall weather here is much like oregon, rain and clouds. Ha right at home.
Portland--Don't know what I am talking about, rain? clouds? fall weather? Ha week ahead still looks beautiful. Tomorrow (wed) looks to be the worst of the week. Weak on shore flow comes from a low dropping into idaho. Air moves from high pressure to low pressure to reach an equilibrium, this means air from offshore comes into the valley. after the clouds burn off tomorrow don't expect to see any for a while. We heat up to about 63 tomorrow then mid 60s from the rest of the week. http://www.kgw.com/weather/pacificsatellite.html shows how off the west the pacific looks clear for a week of sun!
Utah-High pressure that is keeping oregon dry is also keep you dry. Sunshine will stay in your area for quite some time. I htink you will hit your max temp on friday with a high of 63 as the ridge of high pressure moves over top of you.
Denver-Another fun forecast for me! tomorrow high pressure and a high of 75. THEN thursday through sunday we have what are called shortwaves that are apart of a strong coldfront moving through colorado. Shortwaves are not cyclonic but just strong waves of energy. They will be hard to time and timing will show how cool thursday will be. If the timing plays out right snow flakes are a good possibility into thursday night.Friday we dry back out with a high of 56 but then right back down into the low forties for saturday with a high of 40. Saturday night could again bring possibility for snow fall. let me know!
CUSE-
Same forecast holds from previous discussion. Strong westerly flow will bring showers and rain for wednesday. VERY WINDY! then thursday a weak ridge builds over the area to bring sun and clouds with a high of 67. After that another system moves in for the weekend to bring more rain : ( love you
VT HOME BOYS
Same forecast as ny really. We are going to get hit pretty hard by this storm moving in from the west. We will see heavy showers in the morning with gusty west winds. A thunderstom could appear in the early afternoon hours. Things begin to cool down lets say around 230 for showers into the evening. Thursday looks nice and dry however another storm brings more rain for friday into friday night.
FUN FACT: The tiny droplets of water that make up fog are so small that it would take seven thousand million of them to make a single tablespoonful of water.
